This is Dave and I's favorite thing to do lately. It has always been a Sunday afternoon thing, but now it is turning into week night activities including bets and wagers for back rubs/tickles. I have always been the reigning champion...until we started playing for these "little perks!" Gosh. Now, Dave is totally "strategically" kicking my butt big time. Any strategies from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

We play Sequence all the time, but we'll have to switch it up and play phase 10 one of these days.

yeah a card game isn't a card game without "little perks". I never get off as easy as a back rub though! How do you work that? LOL
Oh we love that game we play all the time too, sometimes Rob will even set it up after i say im not in the mood to play haha. You cant let them win when you play for "perks" I like to wait and if i have a good hand ill hold on on going down until i can go all the way out and he gets lots of points!!! But he also always goes down the second he can so i know he isnt close to going out!!! Try it, let me know if you win!!! Good Luck
LOL that is so cute, Josh and I do the same thing for bowling. I use to be pretty good until the pressure started and then it all went down hill!

Love it! and yes, I use to play that game a ton!! Me and Nick do the same thing except with Rumikub. I always win the back rubs!!!
We used to play this game all the time - before kids. Now it seems like we never play games because we fall asleep if we sit down.

I am not very good at that game either! Devin and I bought the dice one and it was fun for a change! It was only like 3 dollars at wal-mart or something like that. This game totally reminds me of Grandpa though, so I guess my tip would be it is easier to win if you aren't color blind ha ha! Love ya!

Steve and I are total SCRABBLE junkies. We felt like old people playing it in the "library" on the cruise. Looks like we need to try Sequence as well. I have played Phase 10 before, but it's been so long. I would need pointers from you experts first I think.
I am a total gamer. The bad thing is don't play with my when I am playing with my sibs. We are to competitive with each other and we tend to get loud, Laughing. It's not so bad, just fun. I think a girls' game night would be fun.
That is so funny!! Erik and I always make wagers! However, he never delivers!! He still owes me a massage. I love that game. Is there a strategy? I just don't know. Erik and I love rook! Have you ever played that? If not you should try. There is a strategy to that.
I LOVE Phase 10. It is definitely a family favorite around here, but we haven't played it for a while. Thanks for the idea...little "perks" will make it even more fun, why haven't I ever thought of that?! ;)
I am now!!! Someday maybe I will finish all 10 Phases. We all know I didn't even come close on the ship. BTW Sequence is on sale at Target right now. Give it a shot.
