A fun day at home

We just hung out at home most the day Saturday...that is after Daddy and Dal got haircuts! We are still working on the potty training with Macie and Dal needed a nap so we just did projects at home. I did sneak out in the afternoon to have some "me" time, which was so needed! I just went shopping to let off some steam!

There is a daddy too!

I feel bad that there aren't any pictures of my hubby Dave. He is a handsome devil and is a great daddy to our kids. We couldn't be happier or more in love!!

Grandma Great

We had such a great week with my grandma who came to visit for a few days. My aunt Denise, Cousin Malaree and her 14 month twin girls came too! I didn't get a super great picture of everyone, dang. Anyway, it was so fun to have them come to our house and we wore them out! We had a day of shopping, with kids....We let the kids swim outside and managed to visit in between kid play!

Peeps on the Pots

I have devoted this entire week to potty training Macie. This has got to be for sure the worse part of parenting so far. However, it is official that she is a big girl and can go pee pee on the potty! I want to have a party and a parade and shout Hip Hip Hooray, (so cheesy I know) but I am trying to keep my cool and praise her with a prize from her potty treasure chest. She has been doing great and is responding really well. She loves to march around in her Dora panties. She also loves her princess pull up that she gets to wear during nap and bed time. This is a big day at our house. We are thrilled.

Okay, we have had great success with the pee pee thing, but Macie had an accident today...poop on the stairs. YUCK! I was so patient and had her help me with clean up. She did not like the yucky drip down the leg so maybe this is a lesson for her! Oh gosh, hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel! Such POTTY TRAINING BLISS!

Trying so hard to blog

I am learning how this whole blog thing works. Be patient with me as I am not that techy on the computer. Okay...here goes!
