Home!
The road trip continues....I have to say that being in St. George made me realize that although I live in Idaho....and do love it here, my heart still belongs in St. George. It is home. I miss so much my friends and family! I have memories there. Lots of them! I will always have a special place in my heart for where I grew up. Maybe that is why it took 2 years to change my cell number to an Idaho area code.
Idaho is cold. I live here, I breathe here, I am here...I have to say though this is my kids home. This is where my family is now. I love the friends we have made here. My kids will always claim Idaho as their home. Meridian, Idaho. This is where we are supposed to be! We are making memories here and I am still working on getting my family to move here....anyone!? anyone!???

Las Vegas
Our family took a drive (okay more like a 12 hour road trip) to Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago to surprise Dave's parents for their 60th birthday. Here is a glimpse into their birthday bash...50's theme! ps. It was so great because I met Dave's grandma, who after being married for almost 7 years I have never met. Also, the entire family was there, all siblings included *this is a big deal in his family!* and it couldn't have been any better! J & K were shocked!

So a little bit of this...yep the never ending strippin!

Mixed with a little bit of this....yep many rolls of duct tape!

= Some Spider Man action on a cute little bum...

Let's not forget the headband, which is Dalan's favortie accessory!

Dalan's potty chart! He could care less about the stickers, he just wants the skittles and M&M's!

I guess I need to come to the realization that when my two year old has NO desire to wear diapers...and WANTS to use the potty...that I need to suck it up and do the potty training thing, (which I have been dreading ever since I potty trained my last one!) I thought it was the worse part of parenting, until I had a self-taught on my hands! After stripping for all these months, and many rolls of duct tape, I guess the day came when he would now be a BIG BOY! Horray for Dalan. It was a great weekend and being that it was General Conference, we were home bound and bummin around! We turned our day into a Conference Potty-Party! Capri Suns, popsicles, milk, water, juice, cookies, candy, skittles, M&M's, and success! I am not going to lie, we had our fair share of accidents BUT he is on his way and now I can return the $40 box of diapers I just bought at Costco!!!!
